THE POWER OF RADIANCE AWARDS 2026

The Power of Radiance Awards are an annual celebration recognizing women who are taking action in their communities by advocating for girls’ education. 

Dr. Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE is a trailblazer in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). A prodigious talent, she passed two GCSEs at the age of ten and later earned a master's degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Oxford, becoming one of the youngest women ever to do so.

In 2013, she co-founded Stemettes*, a social initiative created to inspire the next generation of young women and non-binary people into STEAM. Through free academies, hackathons, mentoring and role-model programs, Stemettes brings young minds into real-world STEAM environments and shows them that there is a place for them in these fields. More than 70,000* young people have taken part in Stemettes programs to date, many describing the experience as the moment they first felt they truly belonged in STEAM.

Dr. Imafidon is known not only for her academic achievements, but also for her bold, energizing presence as a leader who challenges assumptions about who can succeed in technical fields. Her work centers on joy, curiosity and community, helping girls to see themselves as future innovators, problem-solvers and leaders. By combining rigorous learning with supportive networks and visible role models, she is helping to reshape the landscape for girls and non-binary people around the world. 

Through The Power of Radiance Awards grant, Clé de Peau Beauté will support the reach and impact of Dr. Imafidon’s work with Stemettes, enabling more young people to gain access to immersive learning experiences, mentorship and a community that nurtures their confidence.

Dr. Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE is a computer scientist, mathematician and social entrepreneur. She is the CEO and Co-Founder of Stemettes, an award-winning social initiative dedicated to empowering girls and non-binary people in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). Actively involved in education, technology and advocacy in the UK and internationally, she believes that every young person deserves the opportunity to explore and thrive in these fields, regardless of background or gender.

Dr. Imafidon sees accessible, joyful education as a powerful way to help individuals overcome social and personal barriers, nurturing their talents to shape the society of the future. Dr. Imafidon is a sought-after speaker and advisor to industry and government on issues of diversity, innovation and the future of work. She was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to young women and the STEAM sectors.
